31. Not so much of a milestone as 30, but another year passed nonetheless.

While 30 is a good marker to reflect on life (as will be 40, 50 and so on), my life a year ago was still in a period of transition. Things were going well, but in flux. A year later, I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. Business is doing really well, I'm settled into a great community at home and socially, my social circle is more enjoyable than it's been since college, my volunteer avocations are fulfilling and, most importantly, I'm in a relationship that makes me feel optimistic about the future. Everyone's life is full of ups and downs, and it certainly won't be all roses from here on out. Yet, for the first time in (at least) 4 years, I think I can say I'm happy, fulfilled and excited for the journey to 32 and beyond.

Don't call it a comeback:
